Innovation is born where science meets passion.
At SINTIA, our research goes far beyond our own laboratory walls. We proudly collaborate with SOLARIS, the largest and most advanced synchrotron in Poland, located in Kraków. As the only facility of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, SOLARIS offers world-class research capabilities for exploring the structure and properties of matter.
How does the SOLARIS synchrotron work?
- The process starts with the emission of electrons from an electron gun.
- These electrons are accelerated in a linear accelerator (linac) to a high speed.
- They are then injected into a 96-meter storage ring, where they reach an energy of 1.5 GeV.
- As electrons move through the curved path, guided by magnetic fields, they emit powerful synchrotron radiation.
- This light is directed to specialized beamlines used for high-precision analysis at the atomic and molecular level.
Our role at SINTIA
We specialize in high vacuum technology and provide expert consulting in vacuum pump systems, including molecular pumps — essential for maintaining the ultra-clean environments required in synchrotron facilities.
Our team designs and optimizes vacuum systems for even the most demanding scientific and industrial applications.
Why it matters
Thanks to our collaboration with SOLARIS and deep technical expertise, we help drive technological breakthroughs across disciplines — from nanotechnology and materials science to biology, medicine, and environmental protection. We believe that the future of science depends on precise tools and bold ideas. That’s why we combine world-class infrastructure with expert knowledge — to build solutions that make a real difference.
