Machine modernization

We present our offer of comprehensive modernization of mechanical and electrical systems of machines and devices located in your plant, developed by a specialized team from SINTIA. As part of our services, we thoroughly analyze the current condition of all mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the status of protections, to ensure maximum safety and operational efficiency.

Our modernization procedure begins with a conversation with the customer and the machine operator. During this stage, we try to understand their needs and possibilities of improvement. Our goal is to identify the biggest problems and functionalities that require improvement. Then we conduct a detailed technical inspection, focusing on identifying possible weaknesses and possibilities of improving existing systems. Based on the conducted analyses, we begin repairing and optimizing all mechanical and electrical systems, which aims to increase their efficiency and reduce the risk of failure.

All applied machine protection solutions are developed in accordance with the guidelines of SIL and PL standards, which guarantees their high quality and compliance with applicable safety standards. We strive for full satisfaction of our customers, offering an individual approach to modernization, which will affect the long-term benefits of the operation of machines in your company.

Before starting the modernization, we analyze the following issues related to the current condition of the machine.

We encourage you to contact us to discuss the possibilities of modernizing your company's machines. We would be honored to support you in this endeavor.

1. Checking the machine drive systems

Drive systems are a key element influencing the efficiency and operational precision of machines. Our analysis in the field of drive system control includes:

  • Assessment of the technical condition of drive components, including electric motors, gearboxes and transmissions. Backlash, vibration and any deviations from the norm that may affect performance are checked.
  • Analyzing signals from encoders and sensors to provide accurate feedback on position, speed and direction of movement, which is essential for precise control.
  • Verification of drive system operating parameters, such as acceleration, rotational speed and torque, which allows for adjustment of settings to current production needs and increased efficiency.
  • Identifying failure history.

2. Control cabinet inspection

The control cabinet is the command center of the machine. During the analysis we check:

  • Wiring, connectors and condition of electronic components (e.g. I/O modules, relays).
  • We assess the condition of electrical devices and components and their availability on the market.
  • We make sure your control software is up to date and optimized for performance.

3. Bearing and Bearing Housing Analysis

Bearings are critical machine components that affect smooth operation. As part of our analysis, we check:

  • Condition of bearings in terms of wear, clearance and possible unevenness.
  • We examine the condition of lubrication and possible contamination in the lubrication system.
  • We analyze the condition of the bearing housing to make sure there are no cracks or deformations.

4. Electronics Assessment

The purpose of our electronics analysis is to:

  • Checking all measuring devices and sensors for their performance and accuracy.
  • Checking electronic connections and assessing the condition of printed circuit boards and power modules.
  • Investigation of the possibilities of protection against overloads and damage.

5. Hydraulics check

In hydraulic systems, it is crucial to ensure their efficiency. We check:

  • Proper selection of hydraulic oil.
  • Tightness of all components.
  • We make sure that all valves are functioning properly.

6. Pneumatics Assessment

Pneumatics analysis includes:

  • Checking the condition of compressors and air tanks.
  • Checking the tightness of the pneumatic system, including hoses and connectors.
  • Inspect the air filter and oil in the pneumatic system.

7. Drive belt inspection

Drive belts are crucial for power transmission in machines. We check:

  • Condition of belts for wear, cracks and tension.
  • We make sure the pulleys are in good condition.
  • We evaluate the overall alignment of the belts for optimal efficiency.

8. Checking the current security of modernized devices

As part of the modernization of devices, it is crucial to ensure compliance with current security standards. We check:

  • Evaluation and updating of existing security systems in line with new requirements.
  • Checking compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Testing the functionality of security features at critical points of the machine.

CONCLUSIONS FROM THE ANALYSIS

The analysis conducted indicates key areas requiring machine modernization to bring it to the appropriate technical condition.

Modernization will allow the machine to function effectively, which will increase its efficiency and reliability. It is crucial to ensure that new parts are compatible with currently available technologies, which will facilitate the acquisition of supplies and service. Modern solutions such as process automation and integration with production management systems should also be taken into account, which will have a positive impact on productivity and reduce operating costs.

Another important element of the analysis is the assessment of the impact of modernization on employee safety. The introduction of new technological solutions can reduce the risk of accidents and improve working conditions. After the planned modifications, the machine should perform its tasks without any problems, which will significantly affect the efficiency of the entire production process.

It is also worth considering periodic inspections and maintenance to keep the machine in optimal condition for a longer period of time. Investment in modernization will bring significant benefits in the form of more efficient production, reduced failure rate and compliance with new technical standards. The analysis highlights areas requiring attention in the technical and safety areas, including potential threats to machine performance. Implementation of activities such as regular technical inspections, modernization of control systems and training for operators will enable reliable operation of the machine in accordance with health and safety standards and SIL and PL guidelines.
