As native residents of the Chojnice municipality, deeply rooted in the culture and history of the region, we proudly care for one of its technical landmarks – the drawbridge in Małe Swornegacie. For many years, entrusted by the County and Municipal Authorities of Chojnice, we have been responsible for the ongoing maintenance and renovation of this unique structure.
The drawbridge in Małe Swornegacie is more than just a piece of infrastructure – it is a key element on the tourist map of the region. Located on the scenic Brda River, it serves as a vital road crossing and enables boat navigation between Lake Charzykowskie, Lake Długie, and further to Lake Karsińskie. This makes safe and seamless boating possible along one of Poland’s most beautiful kayaking trails.
Our Work – With Passion and PrecisionOur mission is to ensure the technical efficiency of the bridge. We regularly perform:
hydraulic oil replacements in the power hydraulics system,
electrical inspections, including periodic electrical measurements,
routine maintenance of mechanical systems and control automation.
In 2025, a major hydraulic system overhaul is planned, which will include:
complete modernization of the hydraulic power units,
replacement of all rubber hoses,
regeneration of the hydraulic actuators that control the bridge movement.
