Modern modernization of envelope production machines – precision, efficiency and savings.

Major renovations

As time goes by, many devices become less and less efficient, which not only leads to a decrease in their efficiency, but also exposes operators to potential dangers. Therefore, carrying out a major overhaul becomes a key investment, which aims not only to renew the equipment, but also to modernize it.

The major overhaul process begins with a detailed disassembly of the machine. This is the first step, which allows for a thorough examination of the condition of individual components, which is necessary to assess the extent of the work required. As part of the disassembly, each component is carefully analyzed, and any visible damage or signs of wear are documented. It often happens that for older machine models, the availability of original spare parts is significantly limited or even unavailable. In such situations, a major overhaul may also include the process of adapting or producing replacements that are adapted to a specific model, while ensuring their full compatibility.

Another important stage of the process is the assessment of the technical condition of the machine, which usually also includes functional tests. As part of this stage, detailed analyses of the operating parameters and efficiency of individual components are carried out, which allows for the identification of areas requiring intervention. Due to numerous damages and long-term use of the machine, a major overhaul must also include a number of changes aimed at improving safety. This is an extremely important aspect, because over time, many machines lose their original parameters and safety standards, including SIL and PL standards.

Therefore, each machine after a major overhaul should meet current safety standards and regulatory standards. This may include, among others, modernization of fault signaling systems, replacement of safety guards, and installation of modern automation systems that increase both functionality and operational safety.

The scope of activities we carry out during a complete machine overhaul

We invite you to contact us if you are interested in a major overhaul of your machines. We guarantee that our work will bring full satisfaction and meet the highest expectations.

1. Dismantling the machine:

  • Removing the casing, panels and covers.
  • Dismantling of drive, control and safety systems.
  • Removing mechanical and electronic components from the machine.

2. Assessment of technical condition:

  • Inspection of all dismantled components to assess their condition.
  • Analysis of mechanical, electronic and safety systems.
  • Document any damage or wear that requires attention.

3. Selection of new components:

  • Selection of spare parts and components in accordance with current quality and safety standards.
  • Using modern technologies and solutions to replace unavailable elements.

4. Modernization of systems:

  • Combining servos and mechanical systems to create modern, coherent drive systems.
  • Programming and configuration of modern control systems that replace outdated solutions.

5. Installation of modern security systems:

  • Development and implementation of security systems compliant with SIL and PL requirements.
  • Testing security systems to ensure they meet current standards.

6. Component assembly:

  • Putting all the components together in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and best engineering practices.
  • Carrying out necessary mechanical and electronic adjustments.

7. Testing and Validation:

  • Performing functional tests of the machine after overhaul to ensure all systems are operating properly.
  • Validation of the operation of security systems, checking their response in various operational scenarios.

8. Documentation and certification:

  • Preparation of service documentation that will include all work performed, parts replaced, and test results.
  • Obtaining appropriate certificates of conformity.

9. Operator training:

  • Providing training for operators on new equipment and safety procedures.
  • Ensuring that personnel operating machinery are aware of modern safety features and systems.

10. Inspection and maintenance:

  • Developing a maintenance plan and regular inspections to ensure long-term operation of the machine after overhaul.

The overhaul we perform aims to bring the machine to a condition that guarantees safe and reliable operation for many years to come. The overhaul is carried out with the utmost care and attention to detail. This includes thorough diagnostics of all systems, identification of potential weaknesses and implementation of appropriate repair actions. Replacing parts with modern, more efficient, energy-saving and ecological components and using advanced technologies significantly improves the efficiency and reliability of the machine.
